Here Are Some Tips for You
- This product is not suitable for use on aggressive dogs or vicious animals. Aggressive dogs may associate the stimulation from the training collar with other forms of control, potentially intensifying their aggressive tendencies. It is essential to consult with a dog training specialist for correcting aggressive behavior.
- The bark stop collar is designed for use on healthy dogs and is not intended for puppies under 6 months of age. The shock function is not recommended for dogs weighing under 12 pounds. It is important to consider the weight and size of your dog when using the shock feature to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Avoid letting your dog wear the collar for more than 12 hours per day. If possible, gently reposition the collar on your dog's neck every 1 or 2 hours. This helps prevent any potential discomfort from prolonged wear in the same position.
- Never attach a lead to the receiver collar, as it can exert excessive pressure on the contact points. Instead, use a separate collar specifically designed for leash attachment.
- Regularly inspect your dog's neck for any signs of chafing or soreness caused by the collar. If any redness, irritation, or sores are observed, discontinue collar use until the affected skin has healed.
- We recommend starting with the Beep Mode or Vibration Mode for training purposes. If these modes are not effective in redirecting behavior, then consider using the Static Shock Mode as a last resort.
